In the District of Columbia voting rights differs from the other US states. The constitution of the USA grants each state to represent both houses of the US Congress. As per the federal capital, the DC is known as a federal district and does not include any voting representation in Congress. The district is about representing things with the delegation and allows voting on the house floor and procedural matters.
